I-COM (hereafter also referred to as "us", "we", or "our”) is a Global trade body exploring the creation of business value from Smart Data Marketing.
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our website & services, and the choices you have associated with that data. Information Collection and Use
We collect information in several different ways to provide and improve our Services.
Directly from you, or approved third parties.
We collect a variety of information from you when you provide it to us directly, when we request it from you, or when you give us permission to get it from a third party source.
Working Groups Members information. When you accept an invitation to become a member of one of our working groups, you must provide us with basic information such as name, email address, telephone number, company name, etc. We also give you the option to provide additional information.
Attendee registration information. When you register to attend the I-COM Global Summit, you must provide us with basic information such as name, address, email address, telephone number, etc. We also give you the option to provide additional information.
Summit Attendance: I-COM will be photographing the entire event as well as making video interviews which might be published.
Awards Entries information. When sending your entry for one of the I-COM Awards you are also asked to provide basic personal information, so we could contact you and process your entry.
Payment and credit card information. When purchasing Summit Access, entering Awards, signing up for Membership, etc., you must provide us with your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card, debit card or bank information.
Conference app profile information. Summit attendees may download the Summit app, and to do so must provide us with their email address. They will have the option to fill in additional profile information in the app.
Summit survey responses. We may ask you to participate in optional surveys regarding your experience at the Summit in order to help us improve the event.
Third party social media accounts. If you choose to connect your social media account(s) with the Summit app, we may receive certain information from that account, such as your title, picture, and other information you authorize.
Newsletter signup. If you choose to sing up to our newsletters, you must provide your email address and name. You can updated these information at any time, or sign out from these services.
From your browser or device.
We automatically collect certain information from your browser or device when you use certain Services or read a message from us. For example, we collect data regarding the device you are using, such as its unique identifier and operating system; logs will be recorded by our servers based on the information sent from your app or browser; and information may be recorded by cookies and similar technologies when you use the Services. Please review our cookie policy for further details on how we use cookies and similar technologies on our Services.
From public sources.
We also collect publicly available information from your social media accounts, such as your title and/or social media id.
Use of Data
I-COM Global uses the collected data for various purposes:

To provide company updates, if you sign up to receive “I-COM Newsletter”
To provide industry news, if you sign up to receive “Smart Data Marketing News”
To notify you about changes to our services
To provide customer care and support

Rectify, Restrict, Delete. You can request we amend, update and delete your information.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made up to 30 days before the start of the Event: Subject to 5% administration charges penalty
Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before the start of the Event: Subject to 20% administration charges penalty
Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days before the start of the Event: Subject to 50% administration charges penalty
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the Event: Subject to 100% administration charges penalty
Children's Privacy
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children").
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Changes to This Terms & Conditions
We may update our Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms & Conditions on this page.
We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our website, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Terms & Conditions.
