Upon receiving receipt of the speaking proposal speakers will be automatically showcased and promoted on I-COM Global’s different channels in relation to the event. Please note this does not entail and official approval to speak.
The proposal approval will only be communicated after the I-COM Programme Board has reviewed each proposal.
If for any reason, the speaker can not be showcased it must be communicated as soon as possible to our Speaker Manager, Franchesca at fl@i-com.org
All speakers participating in the I-COM Experience are required to attend the conference in person.
Once notified of the approval of their speaking proposal, all speakers must complete their registration and purchase their I-COM Summit Experience Access for the event, unless it's already covered by their I-COM Membership.
The deadline for speakers to complete their registration is Monday, March 3rd.
Speaker Registration
Speaker Substitution, Addition or Cancellation
As our speakers are selected by the I-COM Programme Board for their specialist knowledge and communication skills rather than the company they are representing, I-COM does not generally allow for speaker substitutions.
If, however, for unexpected reasons a speaker may be required to cancel their participation, please inform us as soon as possible by emailing our Speaker Manager at fl@i-com.org.
Any speaker replacement or addition (in the case of a co-presentation) will need to be approved by the I-COM Programme Board in advance of the Summit, and we, therefore, appreciate your timely consideration in notifying us of any changes.
I-COM reserves the right to cancel speaker engagements should the speakers fail to comply with the deadlines and criteria for presentations.
Should I-COM find it necessary to cancel a speaker for this reason, there will be no obligation on behalf of I-COM to refund any fees or costs related to speaker attendance at the I-COM Summit Experience.
The support of our Members, Sponsors & Partners is a critical part of our Summit and a high-value interaction at our event would not be possible without them.
All speakers for the I-COM Summit Experience, however, are evaluated regardless of any commercial considerations. Speaking proposals are accepted only upon the merit of the proposal, individual speaker, relevance of the topic, and an available speaking slot. Speaker selection is determined in consensus by the I-COM Programme Board.
Please note that for non-members, marketing technology companies & commercial providers of research/data services, there is a sponsorship requirement attached to I-COM Programme Board approved speaking proposals. For more information please visit Members & Sponsors section.
When a speaking proposal is received from a company that does not fully meet I-COM speaker terms & conditions, I-COM will contact the company directly and provide the commercial requirements before proceeding with the proposal evaluation.
