Attendee feedback from past events has indicated that networking is one of the most valued aspects of I-COM events. In order to accommodate attendee wishes, we have organised a full day of networking around taking in the cultural and culinary sights of Lisbon.

20.00 Dinner - "Macau Night" Restaurant Mandarin, Estoril Featuring over 119 specialities, The Estoril Mandarim is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Europe serving the haute cuisine of the Guangdong region. For those wanting to take part in this dinner only and not in the rest of the Networking Day on March 13th, this can be booked separately for a surcharge of EUR 70,- per person.

09:00 Departure from Hotel Palacio Estoril to Lisbon by the seaside road
10:00 Coffee Break at the famous Pastéis de Belém Café (Casa Pastéis de Belém). This café is an institution in Lisbon since 1837 and is famous for its Portuguese custard tart, served warm from the oven
11:00 Panoramic tour of Bélem quarter (Belém Tower & Monument to the Discoveries) ending at Estrela Square
11:30 At Estrela Square, trams are waiting for an hour tram tour around Bairro Alto, Lisbon’s old quarters of Lisbon ending at Figueira Square
12:30 Important Field Research at the Port Wine Institute for apéritif and Port Wine tasting
13:30 Heading to lunch, we take short walk from the Port Institute to the heart of Chiado quarter, Lisbon's cultural and shopping area
14.00 Lunch Restaurant Tagide
16.00 St. Georges Castle Panoramic Walk to and around St. Georges Castle with wonderful views of Lisbon
17.00 Return trip to Hotel Palacio |
